Owner/Operator: Geoff White As a player White has had tremendous success. From 2003 through 2005 White compiled Jamestown College career and single season records in wins, innings pitched, strikeouts, ERA, and opponent batting average. He is the first and only pitcher in Jamestown College history to throw a no-hitter (against #14 DSU, NAIA). Previous to his no hitter he had 4 no hit innings, and after, had 3 more, to have a 14 innings stretch without giving up a hit. He is one of a few JC players to have won, a conference title in every year at Jamestown College. He is five times an All Conference Selection (3xDAC-10, 2x CCBC- Malaspina University). In 2004, White went to the NAIA College World Series when Jamestown College posted a record 46-8 season. Over his three years he is a member of the most successful graduating class in Jamestown College history, with a 3 year record of 115-41 (.730). Also, away from College, White has had international experience, pitching with Team USA International in 2004 in Europe. After graduating with an Education and English degree in 2005, White coached for the summer with the Kelowna Falcons of the WCCBL. Starting the season as pitching coach, White was named Head Coach 1/3 of the way through the season. The Falcons went on to post their most successful record in 5 years. During that summer White also managed to pitch the final of the 2005 Sr Men's Provincials where helped the Nanaimo Coalminers to a provincial Championship. After being named an All-Region and HM All American in 2005, White landed a professional contract with the Edmonton Cracker-Cats. Terry Bevington, former Manager of the Chicago White Sox and third base coach with Toronto Blue Jays, signed White on December 20th, 2005. White went on to lead the Edmonton club in innings pitched (99 1/3)in 2006. He posted his first professional win against the Winnipeg Goldeyes in May of 2006. 2007 saw White return to Edmonton and sign an extension for 2007 season but was then released shortly after. White started the Okanagan Baseball Institute in fall of 2006. He has been instructing players since 2003. He currently is a player/coach with the Kelowna Jays Baseball Club. They are coming a rebirth of men's baseball in the previous two years, 2007 record of 43-13 and 2008 record of 41-17. White has recently been named Head Coach of the Okanagan College Baseball team which will begin its inagural season in spring 2009. White is also a Level II NCCP Coach. Jared went through the Kelowna Minor Baseball system and was selected by the Florida Marlins in 2001 and 2003 in the MLB Entry Draft. A dominant force on the mound through high school, Johnson went on to Central Arizona College we he was a member of the pitching staff for the 2002 and 2003 season. During the next two summers Jared would play for the Kelowna Falcons of the WCCBL. 2004-2006 Jared transferred to Benedictine University in Kansas where he would play out his remaining eligibility. 2007 Jared was the pitching coach for the Kelowna Falcons. 2003-Central Arizona Junior College |

Scott Wallis Wallis comes to Kelowna after having played professionally. He also served as assistant coach for his alma mater at Malaspina University. Scott is a tremendous defensive player who also has the ability to hit the ball out of the park. A true student and competitor in the game of baseball. He has had many different baseball experiences from college to professional to coaching Wallis brings a wealth of baseball knowledge to his students.

Kevin Challoner Kevin comes to Okanagan Baseball from Winnipeg. Rob Harynuk Rob comes to the Okanagan Baseball Insitute from Thunder Bay, Ontario. A 2005 graduate of The Franciscan University (NAIA), Harynuk played in the prestigous Northwoods Summer Collegiate League. A rare two way college player, playing both centerfield and pitched. Rob was offered professional opportunities in the Frontier League before personal commitments lead him to other avenues. |
